Weekend Camping Trips

Troop 50 is dedicated to the ideal of keeping the "Outing" in Scouting.  We hold at least one outdoor activity every month. most of which include camping.  The character of boys is shaped through regular participation on camping trips.  We travel anywhere between 15 minutes and 5 hours for weekend outings.

Long Term Camp

Summer Camp 2013 will be at Resica Falls Scout Reservation. Summer camp is a mainstay of the Scouting program. Troop 50 typically visits different camp locations each year to keep the summers active and interesting.  Situated in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Resica Falls Scout Reservation is a 4200+ acre Scouting Paradise.  Set in what seems like an endless track of mountain trails, clear streams, and waterfalls is an amazing program of activities for Scouts to enjoy for their summer camp experience. 

High Adventure

We pack High Adventure into our entire program. Organized High Adventure is what keeps the older scouts coming back for more. These are 1 - 2 week long trips designed to challenge First Class Scouts who are at least 12-14 years old, depending on the activity.
